Meet The Team | Chrysalis To Wings

Gary Stevens, Vice President brings 20 years of volunteer service with the homeless, including 9 years of board experience within the nonprofit shelter system.

Ashley Jamison, Secretary/Treasurer moved to Waxahachie in 2022. She previously volunteered with Lone Star CASA in Rockwall and has been a member of the Rebekahs #381 since 2024. She joined the Chrysalis to Wings Board of Directors in November 2025 and is excited about serving the community.

Andrew Henderson is a business leader and educator. A passionate advocate for affordable housing, he was appointed to the Waxahachie Housing Authority. An experienced board member, Andrew has served on the Waxahachie Parks board as Vice-Chair, the Waxahachie North Grove Park Design committee, Waxahachie Community Development Corporation board, and the Chrysallis to Wings board. He currently serves as the Waxahachie NAACP Committee Chairman, lending his expertise in community advocacy to expand services to underserved populations. Andrew holds a BBA from the University of North Texas and volunteers for local organizations such as Waxahachie Care Services, Ellis County Homeless Coalition and Worship Without Walls Fellowship. He resides in Waxahachie with his family.

Stuart Stephenson has called Waxahachie home for 27 years. Stu has served on the board of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce as well as on Habitat for Humanity, and was the Vice President of the F.L.A.G. Program.
